Carlo Sampietro is an Italian Dynamic Mindset with thirteen years of international experience in advertising and graphic design in three different countries. In the last five years he has dedicates his time to contemporary art and special projects for Brands combining art, design, and social responsibility.

He started his career in 1996 at Publicis Milan as a Junior Art Director working for international accounts such a Carlsberg, Renault and Club Med.

In 1998 he moved to London and freelanced for a small advertising boutique, Spirit.

In1999 he moved back to Milan, where he freelanced for Arnold Worldwide and Leo Burnett, working on global brands such as such a Fiat, Mc Donald’s, Nintendo, Coca Cola, Tampax and Gordon’s Gin.

Between 2001 and 2003 he was rewarded with a bronze at the Eurobest, a gold at the Italian art directors club and a gold at the Epica Awards. He was selected by Clio Awards as one of twelve “Future Gold” young creatives in the world and invited to represent Italy at Clio Festivals in Miami in 2004.

In 2004 he left Italy and moved to NY where he freelanced for J.Walter Thompson and Draft FCB.

In 2006 he joined TBWA\NEW YORK as a freelancer, creating the new brand Sweet Simplicity and in the same year he started to work as a Creative Director for the entire TBWA/BAI portofolio: Canderl, Equal, Illy, Stokke, Chivas, Jameson Whiskey, Inchape. The Main focus of this rules was brand and rebrand.

In 2007 he was Promoted to creative director for TBWA\WORLD. Based in London he was leading creative on global brands (Pernod Ricard, Stokke, Merisant) and collaborating with creative teams in Paris, Dublin, Madrid, New York, and Los Angeles.

Since 2009 he is exploring new form of communication, that include social art installation, experimental video art, contemporary art, and social responsibility dedicated platform for brands between New York And Brazil.

Unstoppable traveller, is an expert of the central and south American culture, he has a double citizenship, and has been visiting over 63 countries. He speaks Italian, English , Portuguese and Spanish.
